delayed delivery due to inspection?

Have gotten the same message. Delivery was originally Mar 20th (Non-FS), but has been delayed due to cantrail adjustments.

Sounds like a super canned response, but I'd rather have this completely fixed vs wrapping it, having issues with it, and then just to do it over again when they actually fix it.

No ETA after pressing for a date for completion.

Called my local service center and spoke with an advisor. I do have a FS AWD cybertruck im pending delivery of. good news is vehicle has been on site since last Monday.

I emphasized my concern as to a delivery date update. he said this was brought up during a team meeting today and while there is no date to be given he assured me it will be completed by the end of the month. I informed im asking about this because I was pre qualified for the 1.99 rate but the terms are I must take deliver by march 31 to qualify.

So we will see, but he is certain it won't take till the end of the month and all technicians are working on the issue as its priority.

3/20 is my original delivery date for 25 AWD non foundation.

According to Youtubers that Tesla is looking into the upper SS Trim piece over the Door, that is glued on and some people have had those come loose or flyoff when driving at highway speed. So I am not sure if they are replacing those or what? Or going with better glue Lol. But they said Tesla is not sure of a solution when reported, they may have now.

Yes some users SA have directly said its the cantrail. this is the upper a frame looking portion that extends from the hood to the rear just above the windows. Some SA are being very vague and others are being very transparent. not sure the fix or why these are suddenly falling off.

• 1860489-00-C (LEFT)
• 1860490-00-C (RIGHT)

I confirmed that these are on my truck that I've yet to receive. The green dot indicates that part is on the VIN.

Correction - the new cantrail part numbers are:

• 1860490-97-C (RIGHT)

Yeah if they don’t give us a delivery date before then, I’m pretty sure the contract was established when they took the money, and we’d get the same deal.
At this rate I might have my first car payment before I get the car lol

I’m sure the engineering group is under extreme pressure to implement a technical solution to the root cause of the problem ASAP.

The company wants the delayed delivery Cybertruck’s to count towards Q1 deliveries. We are only 15 days away from the start of Q2.

I ordered today and got my VIN and also financing approved from wells fargo auto. I was gonna keep waiting, but i don't think there will be anymore deals at this point. Plus the 1.99% allows me to keep my money market or cashback savings at the higher interest . my approved # is like 50k , and a 28k due at signing, but i have a 28k trade in, which i guess either way i should approve the financing because the trade in isn't calculated, the only issue is, i think the tax they are charging me is on the full sale price and not after trade in, which here in Florida its supposed to be after trade in.

I’m pretty sure once the financing is approved the rate is locked for 60 days… after that they will have to redo the financing and you could lose the promo rate. I ordered yesterday and got the 1.99%

The Sales Advisor at my location in Lake Elmo, MN mentioned in times where the vehicles are delivered after the promo ends, but the order is in and you’re waiting on delivery, they’ll honor it.

Regarding the trade-in, once that is approved the final price is adjusted, as is the monthly. I placed my order on 3/12, and have all of those steps completed. My concern is that the approved trade-in offer is only good for 30 days/1,000 miles. I’m hoping mine isn’t too held up they recalculate my trade-in.
