Is anyone else experiencing problems with their new PAWD CT delivery? Mine has been sitting at the SC (confirmed) FOR OVER A WEEK awaiting a firmware update. It is currently running version 2026.14.3 and they won’t release it until 14.6 is loaded. Does that sound correct?? Why couldn’t they release it to me and receive the update through my garage WiFi when it is rolled out? It has been a very frustrating week of back and forth with scheduling the pick up.

Maybe because it is dysfunctional or will damage it's self without the update?

New vehicles cannot be delivered if there is a known safety issue or regulatory non-conformance. This can occur outside a recall if the manufacturer caught the issue before any vehicles were delivered, commonly called a containment hold.

There’s more to it than just firmware update … my AWD CT is on containment hold along with three others for last three weeks at the SC … is your VIN series 94xxx ?

I was supposed to take delivery 5/9, containment hold. They told me something to do with the battery they are seeing if engineers can release it or they have ordered the part which should get here next week with a 2 day turn around time. My vin is in the 95xxx

I took delivery of my Premium AWD on 5/6/26
VIN: 7G2CEHED6TA0935XX
Born:3/31/26
I received 2026.14.3 via an update over WiFi
Don’t remember what it started with.
Hoping, assuming mine didn’t slip through prior to discovery of an issue that may affect mine.

It's in the hands of engineering, SC would only be aware of whatever Tesla-main tells them.
Time to fix depends on the root cause and correction plan.
I'm not aware of any that have been delivered from containment.

This is such a CLUSTER BLEEP. Who knows how many CT’s this impacts. It could be hundreds or thousands of PAWD builds since March. I’m concerned this also applies to the basic AWD models as well, further lengthening the fix. If it’s a physical part replacement, buyers should be made aware so expectations are correctly set.

For those of us with trucks in containment at the SC, we have already signed documents, transferred cash, set up auto payments, and paid insurance. Yet it could be weeks before we take delivery after a six week window since ordering??? Like I said, what a cluster BLEEP.

I love Tesla. This will be my second purchase. But I have to say I am extremely disappointed with this experience. ☹☹☹☹
