Do any Non-Tesla employees have a scheduled delivery date?

yeah, i think that employee is reporting now stale information

or think of it this way:

this forum alone has 500 FN editions ordered, and to think that's more than 50% of all orders in existence is a stretch.

Paramus, NJ got a founders edition a few days ago and I got to see it in person for the first time. Incredible.

Employee there mentioned there will be 1000 founders editions made. After those are filled, the rest of us mortals will get our shot. From what I can deduce from the store, 11280xxxx should be able to configure their order via the website.

Are there any 11281xxxx or 11282xxxx's that are able to configure (employee or non employee) via the website?

This seems very strange. Not saying that this information is incorrect, but it seems strange that there would only be 1,000 of the Founders Edition Trucks and over half of those are entered in to the "Submitted Orders List" that's on this Site. I would have guessed that most orders would not be entered on that list...... but who knows.

Those who placed an order on the 21st of November 2019 were enthusiast of Tesla and the truck. They needed news throughout these four years. They more then likely searched for that news and found us and were not active but checked in throughout the years.

Now the day has come and they want to share their excitement. 50% of those that placed an order being at one time or another on our site, that after this long wait excited to share does not surprise me.

My guess is less than 10% of orders are posted on that list.

Try to find one person that took delivery that isn't a Tesla employee. Every truck so far on social media has been an employee. I am sure that if a regular customer got a Cybertruck, it would be all over social media or they would be in here letting us know.

That’s assuming if a regular person got one they’d have social media to post it on (I don’t and won’t) or that every regular Cybertruck buyer is somehow connected to this forum. I know from my wife of a local Facebook Cybertruck community. Just saying we would know if a regular person got one doesn’t in anyway make it true.

I can see the posting here to be higher than average:

Had 4 years to do it. Maybe want to be more engaged in the news flow. Come here. That is what I did, but never really got into posting till I was able to. Yet if the cap was 1000, I don't see 50% plus penetration as posting members. That would be a stretch. Has to be over that number or congrats to COC.

Definitely more than 1,000 Founder Editions. The order tracker has over 500 already and that’s not counting all the invites that went out but haven’t been purchased.

It is extremely likely we would hear of it. If someone got a Cybertruck and doesn't own internet got one, their neighbors would be sharing it every where. Every truck that has been delivered can be linked back to a Tesla employee. Most of the people that put the earliest reservations are going to blast out somewhere on the internet with a screen shot of their VIN. We haven't seen one so far. Ok, it is not 100% certain, but I would say 99.99% certain that no regular person got a Cybertruck yet.

I just spoke to the guys at the delivery center in Austin. They have a dozen cybertrucks on site right now. He said they have delivered a few to non-Tesla employees but the majority have been to Tesla employees.

I think I'll go down to the local Tesla showroom and slip the guy $420 to snag the one they have on display. I'll etch the FS on it freehand.
