Do other cars flash their lights at you at night as if you have your high beams on when you obviously don’t? It’s a daily thing for me. The headlights are solid on the CT but they don’t seem overly bright to me. I’m wondering if it’s just because of the height of the truck or is it a combo of the headlights and the front LED light bar? My headlights have been calibrated and are at the accurate position. Maybe they’re just really bright LED’s. Hmm

You can adjust the lights down a bit, and this helps with the issue. It happened more when I first got it, but I lowered the lights, and now it seems to be ok.

Yep, I get those flashes to but only on the two lane roads. Never seen it on divided highways.

That's normal, happens with my ICE truck too.

A lot of it depends on how high the truck is riding and how stupid oncoming person is. Just get ready to flash your brights back and make them look foolish :)

Sheeet, if in California its a bunch of douchebags. It hasn't happened in a few months but everyone here all of 2025 was doing it to be a douchebag hater. Ignore, ignore, ignore.

Yes, this is what I did too. I started paying attention to where the top of my low beams were hitting, especially as I bounced along uneven roads in the county. Dropping the headlights by a few clicks solved the issue.

It happened a lot before I had auto-adjust high beams turned on I think because they see the high beams turn off. Before I turned auto on, it also happened more when going over a slight hill even with low beams because it's pointing up at incoming cars while on hills.

I really wish the CT had the matrix headlights like the X. Those are amazing how they make a dark hole that tracks oncoming traffic.

^This. My wife has them on her Model Y too. I'd be willing to cut holes in my frunk to accommodate the larger matrix headlights. If only the software would support it.

The light bar is for offroad use only. AFAIK it is illegal to deploy them on public roads, and some states even require they be covered.

If you feel your headlamps are maladjusted, there's a calibration procedure in the Service Guide.

I mean the daily light bar on frunk. My headlights are perfectly aligned (saw the beams when being inspected last month). I think it’s just height of truck and they’re just bright

The headlights are mounted a lot lower than most trucks and are angled up instead of down like they would be on other trucks. I think this also contributes to oncoming traffic feeling like they are getting flashed (by headlights. Get your mind out of the gutter).
