Most people on this forum probably know more about this topic than I do, I will just try to provide one more data point for the OP. I have a 2018 model S and my wife has a model 2018 model X, We were told 5.5 years ago when we bought them that we should charge to 90%, but not 100, I guess over time they have recommended charging lower than that but we just got used to 90%. My wife probably uses 30% of her battery daily and charges to 90% everyday, I probably use 20% of my battery daily and I try to charge two or three times a week rather than everyday. As you can see below, we have very similar degradation, her car has 70,000 mi and we supercharge her car 10 times a year because we use it on trips. My car has probably been supercharged five times if that and it has 50,000 mi on it. Maybe we would have 4 or 5% degradation if we charged to 70 or 80%, but then again we didn't worry too much because we usually get new cars every be 5, 6 or 7 years.
