I have a high-pitched squeal that appears to come from the rear. My neighbors have mentioned that it is annoying as I drive by them as they walk in the neighborhood. I can hear it with the window down, but not with the window up. Even with the window up, the backseat passengers can hear it and they also mention that it is annoying.
I am being told by Grok that it is a "feature" to warn pedestrians. Just doesn't seem correct since 1) NO Tesla I have ever owned, including my brand new MY has this "feature", and 2) Tesla doesn't normally purposely make annoying noises.
I have an appointment for service in NC coming up and they always try to figure out a way to weasel out of fixing something, so I want to be prepared with some information from other owners.
