keep them in the cab with you. Simple solution. No dog of mine will be confined to the box.
CT is BIG enough to fold rear seat up! so your pooch can have the bed behind the passenger. A case of 'DOGS IN SPACE' CYBRCAB.....

The Chevy has a openable partition. 450 mile range, too. WT version available now. Elon should have beaten Chevy to market. But Chevy looks like all pickups for last 70 years....

Is it really 'to market' if the only one in anyone's hands requires special limited access and carries a price tag twice what it was advertised at?

My dealer - I got a reservation because it would fit my needs - hasn't even bothered to ask me if I want one.

I expect the LTZ will be comparable in trim to the CT. Elon doesn't do fancy. My current Chevy is LTZ and it is pretty comfortable.

Elon has to, at the very least, update the web page with prices. They already know everything that will be on the "forever" web page. Why not share it with fandom? A lot of CT fans are getting fed up with this tease-tease stuff and will go with the Chevy. Here in Reno, my Chevy dealer has a couple of WT4 go to commercial clients. I will try to spot one and post stuff, although Reno has gotten bigger. Going to be hard to differentiate, because unlike the CT, the WT looks like any other PU.

So, as we learned: The Silverado is still only in limited access and the only ones that people have reviewed have a $79+k price.

I don't care what they've announced. I only care what they've done.

And how many CT's of any trim are in real customer hands? How many CT's of any trim are available for MT, CD, etc. to test? Chevy has actually sold WT4's to real customers. Chevy is cranking them out as fast as they can, with the strike. Tesla doesn't even have a web page that lists anything meaningful for the CT. Hey, I want a CT, but you have to give Chevy credit for very worthy competition.

Look, I can't even trade my reservation in for the $80k version.

My point is that it's not really out yet, let alone ramping up.

It's currently not affected by the strike, as far as I know.

Is anybody else planning on putting their dogs in the vault? My concern is that if there is no removable or roll-down rear window then I have no way to get heating and/or cooling to the vault, and to hear the dogs if they're distressed or anything. I have two Boxers and my hope was to let them ride back there in a big cage for road trips. I'm often driving through snowy mountains or hot desert, and while I don't need to keep it 70 degrees for them I would definitely want to keep it between 50 and 90 degrees back there which I'd think a roll down rear window would achieve.
Yes, I too have dogs and if that window doesn't roll down, which it can easily be made too, I will remove the old fixed and install a dual slider. It can be done easily. I too wish the tailgate had a ramp built in.

the window doesn't roll down, were you able to do the swap out and put in a dual slider?

Yes, I'm having Dublin glass building it. About 2 weeks left. I also built a hydraulic lifting rack. Done today

Get a tiny AC and plug it into the bed outlet(s).
This is what I did. I have the EcoFlow Wave 2 plugged in the back. Works great, just need to have a custom vent panel for the exhaust side.
