That is horrible. Those poor people. I hoped they served more then nuts and pretzels for that long of a flight.
Is this why we are working so hard to get people back to the moon? Is this just a big rescue mission to get the people off that plane?

So, the owner of the vehicle knew him by first name, and was able to text him? Therefore, the owner didn't leave their phone in the car. But, they knew each other. HMMMM
Yeah, the whole thing seems really odd.

I doubt very much that he was able to connect to a different car with his phone and unlock it. Did he use the app, or was unlocking the car via his phone's proximity to the vehicle? Either way, it seems very unlikely. Far more likely the other own left his phone in the car as someone else mentioned, and one of the reasons I have pin to drive set.

I wish biometrics would mature so I didn't need the phone at all, it just recognized my biosignature, before it transported me inside. 😜 Look mom, no doors! Just a transporter, complete with heisenberg compensators.

When I see my first CT in the wild, you better believe I will unlock with my app and take it for a joy ride.

I am pretty sure @Crissa ’s will be idle during a weekday. 😁

Crissa looks at her SO.

SO, “It was not me… (this time)”

Crissa, “I know, the truck is only 40% covered with mud. Nowhere near your level”

Spouse works all day, so, yeah, checks out.

There are so many ways to unlock a Tesla, that the app let the person drive off without being pre-set as a driver is unlikely.

A fob or keycard could also have been left in the car.

The real owner either:
1. left their phone on the charger in their car
2. had paired their friend Rajesh's phone as an approved driver to their car.

Both are highly plausible. The rightful owner was obviously friends with Rajesh.

No story here
I think you got it with number 2, that makes the most sense.
