Well, as of a few minutes ago my Cyberbeast completed order from December 28th, 2023 (from a RN from reveal day in 2019) has reached the true order estimated delivery window of June-August 2024. The early delivery promised for holding 500+ shares of TSLA doesn't seem to have really materialized.

I already know I'm approaching delivery soon without the program considering that someone in my area with a December 23rd completed order date just got their Beast a couple weeks back. Considering that, this just wasn't a really great experience, especially given I had to get on the phone with my brokerage, explain the situation, get the right documents, etc.

I hope Tesla realizes how this feels as an investor. When the referral early delivery program was launched the carpet was rolled out for them, they didn't have to do anything else. Almost every got their AWD and Beasts within 45 days or less, some in a week.

On the flipside, investors, who are being communicated with frequently as I write this about remembering to vote for Elon's pay package (among other things) got almost no communication about early delivery for nearly 3 full months now. It makes zero sense. Would long-term investors not be valued as much if not more than those with referrals?

I'm sure I'll enjoy the truck either way, but I feel like long-term shareholders who already had an order in didn't get treated right with this program. I don't know if Tesla is planning any additional incentives for those they didn't come through for (like store credit for accessories), but something like that would be appreciated, especially for the inconveniences that came with prepping two statements that in my case I wasn't able to edit to hide my other holdings.

I've been sitting here with countless accessories from the shop already, most of which are now past the return window because I was under the impression I'd have the truck by now. I hope if Tesla ever does a program like this again they're better prepared.

You are frustrated (and I was too) because Tesla made us feel that LTS are important... but really... which company (forget Tesla) takes care of shareholders. NO ONE.

Others in Chicagoland/Wisconsin with higher RN’s and non-LTS have received their Beast orders already! Not happy.
Cite?

Very shitty run LTS program. How hard was it for them to review based on RN? Do they really not have the ability to do that? Didn’t they have years to consider how to more efficiently run this program if they really wanted to reward LTS? #thethrillisgone
How do you run it better, in a way that doesn't cost alot of money to operate?

Because answering phone calls and emails to tell you that you haven't been looked at yet seems like a big cost to me.
oof looks like I got rejected or something. Don’t know how ...
i didnt get one either or a rejection notice. no idea how i would know if i was out?
They will email you if you're rejected.

Pretty sure there's a bit of first-come-first-serve from the shareholder verification system.

Couldn’t agree more. I sent in all the paperwork and it did nothing, I got my order configuration pretty much dead on to what the forum had predicted based on my number. Let’s be real, that guy probably got fired that was running the program and was looking for something to do, now it’s just in the ether floating around.

100% agree. The whole program was false hope for a reasonable delivery timeframe. If I see a VIN this week somehow I'll be at 160 something days since order. At this rate I'll be able to see WD destroy one on YouTube before I even get a VIN to mine.

Despite the lack of communication, the program does seem to work.

I had a Nov 2023 (delivery day) order accelerated. Submitted docs to verify shareholding on 3/25 then two months of crickets. Received configuration email 5/30, configured on 5/31, received VIN on 6/4 and found the Cybertruck matching my VIN in the holding lot on 6/4. Working on delivery tasks now and looking forward to scheduling delivery!

I ordered mine in 2021, RN: 114978426 and I qualified easily for the LTSH program, submitted papers early. Was verified. Put in a Texas address for my account (my brother's address, he lives 10 miles from Tesla plant), although I didn't add the address until a couple of weeks after submitting the share holder program info.

I haven't heard a single thing from them. It appears as though you were way behind me in the line and somehow Tesla moved you in front of me..... boo hoo for me

Although I love Tesla and all it its doing, their lack of communication is terrible.

I'm ready, willing and able to purchase a CyberBeast FS.

Oh well, I'll patiently keep waiting,

Dan the Man from Michigan

I wouldn't fret it, the "line" isn't a line.

What I mean is that it seems Tesla is shipping Cybertrucks in the "standard" AWD config of white/all-terrain to service centers even without matching orders and THEN sending invites. Beasts? Not so much methinks. I've seen 30+ cybertrucks in holding lots the last couple months. Number of beasts? One. Just one.

Hang tight, beast production still seems very, very limited. If you switch to AWD I wouldn't be surprised if you had your truck in two weeks or less.

PS, agree lack of communication just creates customer anxiety. But that's the Tesla way.

Thanks, I feel a little better.

You wrote:

I don't see any way on the Tesla website, to "switch" the order or trim. I can cancel it and order a new one, but I doubt I would get that one in two weeks. Here is the screenshot of when I hit "Manage Order":

Tesla Cybertruck Early delivery of Foundation Series Cybertruck now available to long-term verified TSLA shareholder! cancel-order

I have also tried calling them and only get recordings.

Ugh......

typically, once you’ve ordered you can still change the configuration….
…unless/until your vehicle enters the production queue. Might be less than a week to your VIN if you can no longer edit the config.

And Tesla doesn’t really take phone calls, can try messaging in the app but they don’t always reply.

I wish it were so, but its always been un-editible and never had a way to change it since 2021 when I ordered it. It looks the same today as it always has ....
