I was hoping that someone ELSE would use simple logic to come up with the REAL reason that updated CT's are not available for us to see. It's very simple.

They don't have an operational 8000 ton IDRA press. They only have the 6000 ton variety. This means they can not make the larger castings needed to create an updated CT.
Keep your eye on the drone footage for a 33% bigger IDRA press.

If we are going to get technical, they were building Model Y rear ends in 2 pieces initially, so they could certainly make 2-piece front and rear ends for the purposes of prototyping. I can think of no good reason why we haven’t seen more prototypes yet, but it should be imminent.

You can be certain that any IDRA deliveries (any deliveries of anything but especially those) will be immediately shared.

We are all becoming somewhat delusional without even a user name.
