I ordered in early February and received an offer to design a Foundation Series Cyber Truck for delivery June to August. I’m holding out for non Foundation truck.
I’m not understanding what you are saying ? You reserved a truck in Feb 2024 and got an invite to build a FS in the same month ( AWD ) and was given a June/August delivery? Is that was you are saying

There is a limited number of buyers at $80k and even less at $100k. We are seeing with this with the low conversion rate of FS orders. We just don't know what the number is. I say there are not enough buyers at $80k to support 125k sales/yr.

If the AWD was priced at the intro price of $49,900 and RWD at $39,900 then 500k sales/yr. could be a possibility. We saw this with the Model Y. Prices had to go down to open up the number of potential buyers.
Perhaps. I'm just saying that Tesla outsells Ford in equal categories. Maybe Tesla won't sell in large quantities without a big price reduction. But, they'll sell all they can make for the next year, at least.

I know what he said, I also know he’s a salesman and he will say what he has to so ppl stay interested and wait longer.

Edit…. Once upon a time, he also said that the trimotor was going to be the first one that was released. And we see how that is turning out
I thought it was the model with highest profit margin. I’m guessing Teslas profit margin is a more with the dual vs Tri.

I don’t think Tesla will increase annual production beyond 125,000 Cybertruck’s per year due to supply and demand. I predict a price cut to increase demand will be coming around 2026.

I dont see a 2 year line with tesla's stated ramp numbers
Yeah, I don't feel like there will be a 2 year line... Not only will they be producing quicker, but also many of the people who couldn't swing the 100K also won't be able to swing the 80K.

I'd rather Tesla run though the whole list with FS and shift to the non-FS to start building inventory in the mean time... Then just turn the non-FS options on for all reservations holders at a first come first serve basis. They many think "well.... everyone has had a chance".... send it
