The PTO is most definitely just a cable connection, not a mechanical output, as this would require a dedicated gearbox, clutch etc to operate. I think a 12V trolling motor won't do enough at all, better off having a turbine wheel design and deflector ducts on the inside of the wheel to produce thrust.I don't think so. Trolling motors for bass boats run off 12v batteries. It won't need much power and we know the bed already has electrical plugs. There is no reason for a PTO.
