I noticed that on many trucks on youtube ... I dont have it yet ... but it looks HORRIBLE ... infact I was thinking its more of metal rather than leather ... metal like Model Y ... which gives very smooth even finish of aluminum ... this one looks like someone stapled in anger using some cheap material ...

My truck has it. I don't know if it is the same as yours. It shouldn't be, but I am assuming every truck has it.

same. also if you look at the dash in direct sunlight you can see some imperfections too.

Mine has a few (maybe 3)dimpled spots along that line but I had to get the lighting at the right angle and bend down to see them. Definitely not noticeable without specifically looking for them. What’s your VIN number? Mine is 1834. I wonder if depending on the VIN range the application process of those panels changed?

Yeah, getting in while outside in the sun is when I see them. Just looks bad, like someone did not care and or a bad design for how the material is mounted or glued(?) on.

Yes and including the front white dash trim. They replaced it at the SC about a month ago and told me when I picked up the truck that engineering said they weren’t supposed to replace it after all.

The front white dash trim also came with a small scratch.
