I've had success moving the wheel lower and using both knees when I need a snack. Might need to setup a "snacking" profile for easy swapping.

For hands-free driving, I just use my junk

I lashed it to the right side of the squircle using a soft cotton rope but I found the sensation caused a persistent left-steering bias that was difficult to overcome with my left knee. The harder I would try to overcome the left-steering bias, the more left bias there would be!

Not a good solution!

Thankfully the squircle is limited to less than 180 degrees of rotation.

Yeah, after all this time I recently used the ignore feature for somebody just because they kept on starting stupid threads. But I’m sure there are those that ignore me because of my stupid replies.

Like has happened so many times, you may be stupid going out and shooting someone.

And this is such a funny thread, seeing that everyone that currently has a Cybertruck will be getting FSD.

yall who haven’t successfully driven with your knee on the CT—just put your knee (really I use my distal thigh) on the CENTER of the bottom of the squircle and that way you can apply tangential force in either direction. Took some getting used to but it works fine once you’re used to it. And because of SBW you only need small movements. Not to say it’s better than a round steering wheel, just saying it’s doable

I've had my truck for almost three weeks now, and encountered my first major issue this morning.

I drove through McDonalds' and bought an Egg McMuffin and a coffee. The problem: No matter what I did, I could not steer with my knees while I ate. The squircle just doesn't allow it.

I don't see how this made it through the drive testing phase. Surely Electrek or TFL or JerryRigEverything will do an exposé showing how much better the Rivian/Silverado/Hummer/Pinto are at this.

It took you that long? I had the problem immediately! I need FSD.

My wife drives like this, needless to say I thank Elon everyday I get in my truck and she isn't asking to drive it.

I always tell my wife is that my goal is to be able to eat a taco while driving without spilling half the taco on me. Come on FSD!

I can't even do that sitting at the dinner table.
