I went on 600 trip this weekend. My range was horrible. I barely got 200 miles per 300 charge. Had to charge 5 times. Teslafi rated battery at 70% efficency. At 5 months degrading I won't make a year before battery is dead. I've notified Tesla.
I don’t think anything is wrong with your truck. It is not rating the battery at 70% efficiency, it is saying the truck is being 70% efficient. An EV battery will drop the the most range in the first 20k - 30k or so miles.

Below are longest trips I have taken in the AWS truck. Running 75+ MPH 200 miles sounds about right to me leaving yourself about a 10% buffer.

This is a trip at the end of 2024, 165 miles using 81% battery.

Speed is key. I don’t care about charging an extra time or two on a longer trip if I get to stay in the left lane :)

DId you have tonneau cover open? I notied the range decrease significantly if you leave the Tonneau open.

I think this thread is misleading. Wind conditions and CT speed matters significantly. If it’s super windy and you drive at 80+ mph, range will be severely compromised. The other day I went to Stockton on a very windy day. I was running late, so I was hitting 80-85+ mph. I was seeing 510+ Wh/mi. On the way back the next day, it was not that windy. I was using FSD. It was 356 Wh/mi!!

So, please do seriously consider aero before concluding that CT range sucks. Everything in the universe should obey the laws of physics, even the Beast!

For comparison. Here're my results.
1.) Cyberbeast with Cyber Wheels (aero covers off most of the time) and AT tires (2.37miles/Wh).
2.) Cyberbeast with Core Wheels(aero covers off most of the time), AS tires and aftermarket rooftop lightbar (2.13miles/Wh).
3.) Model X Plaid with factory 20in wheels and AS staggered tires (2.95miles/Wh).
4.) Model 3 Performance refresh with aftermarket staggered AS tires (3.57mile/Wh).
Not bad?
