I can buy 100 FS with cash. I just want 1. Where is it? Tesla must hate cash. All these people with no intention of buying reserving VINs and not cancelling their order GTFOTW.
Lol, if you can afford 100+, why not get one from a dealership. They are literally everywhere , with only a 20k-30k markup?‍♂

I’m paying a premium to get my Cybertruck sooner rather than sometime in 2025 (given my order date, which was late, and I think some pent up demand for the lower price).

But I don’t see it as a $20K premium. I take $8K off for FSD. I take $2.5K off for the Tesla Shop credit because I have Powerwall/Solar already). I take $3K off for the All Terrain tires (the folks who think that will be the default option or less than $3K are smoking some fine Mary Jane). Then I take another $1K off for the Mobile Connector, the free accessories, and the free lifetime Premium connectivity (which will be $15 per month in 2025 I’d wager).

So all in I’m paying a premium of $3K to $6K depending on how you might value the things above. And if Tesla decides to charge for PowerShare or Heated/Ventilated seats being locked behind a paid option? Even better!

All that said, I’d probably pay the premium even if the math didn’t work. :)

Tesla will have many choices if they decide to de-content the future non-FS trims.

They can pull the ventilated seats, a subwoofer, AT 35" tires, install fabric door panels, make the rubber floor mats and tonneau cover optional, etc.

Do you want your truck soon?

Get the FS.

Pretty clear no non-FS in 2024 and solid chance there is an instant 6 month backlog on non-FS in 2025.

The goodie bundle is not a tremendous value, but it's not horrible or just flat out 'dealer markup' either.

Four wheel steering
basic off road modes
Premium sound
Heated and ventilated seate
Accent lighing

WILL ALL BE STANDARD
Hmm. So there is a separate 'Off Road' app now. I'm not really sure if that means anything or not. Would be super easy for them to just have "Off Road Mode" be very basic for some owners. Not saying they will one way or the other, but it would be very easy to just turn the app off.

All Terrain Tires and the white interior are likely upgrades.

any update on non-FS production start?

the forum becomes rot of wraps, no real news...
Im also surprised by lack of any real accessories being developed, not overpriced useless crap but something actually useful like horizontally leveled cross bars, truck bed cap.

I guess we know there are 12k already produced, probably another 12k FS are ordered.. so is it fair to say tesla will start making normal CTs somewhere in October?

I don’t know if this has been mentioned, but if Trump gets elected, he is likely do do away with the EV subsidies. That thought may impact your reason to wait For non-fs truck.

Elon officially stated non-FS trims would start production in Q3 (July - September).
