How many of us are there?
IMO we need to pressure Tesla for the perks they gave as demand dropped. I understand we will still be out a ton of money since Tesla dropped the price, lowering resale. But maybe we can get connectivity and supercharging.

Maybe trade in my still on order lightbar?

Lifetime premium - but not USC. Don't expect it either and I'm ok with it.

I do think there’s a unique expectation among Tesla owners that they’re owed retroactive perks or hardware updates when pricing changes or improvements are made.

You don’t really see that same mindset with other manufacturers — when Ford or BMW drops pricing or refreshes features mid-cycle, prior buyers don’t expect compensation. I've owned an X, a Y, and this FSCB and never once thought where's mine. That’s just how product cycles work.

If I had to do it again, I would have waited an extra 2 months to have been able to avail of the lifetime free supercharging. I was hoping Tesla was going to release a lux package for us to be able to unlock that perk. I do have lifetime free premium connectivity though.

As for lightbar and getting some sort of credit......good luck! I tried that...Tesla says NO.

Best thing I did was was trade in my Foundation AWD for the Foundation CB when they offered free lifetime supercharging and 0%. Felt crazy at the time and not typical for me, but man it was worth it. Got the Powershare from the original AWD and then a light bar to boot.

I knew what I was signing up for when I bought the Foundation AWD. I knew it would cost less in a few months, I didn't anticipate the future offer of free supercharging, but I really don't use it that much anyway (other than the 4500+ mile trip I just took). I wanted my Cybertruck ASAP and I was willing to pay for it. I am not going to go back now and say, "well, if I had only waited...."

We will do the same if they ever come out with a steer-by-wire SUV, we'll be one of the first with a reservation, and will take delivery ASAP to replace our exiting Y.

From my understanding, Powershare = free lifetime supercharging.

When Tesla took away PS, they gave supercharging benefit as replacement.
If that were true then, since PowerShare doesn’t actually work, maybe Tesla ‘should’ compensate us somehow. But I don’t think it is true.

Tesla did compensate, $2,500 voucher for the Tesla shop for even early Foundation Series. Early Beasts also got a Powershare install credit.

Thanks to the ridiculous Qmerit quotes I got a generator inlet installed instead with a manual lockout switch for ~$800 and then bought a cable with 240v pins on one end and which connects to the generator inlet. Poor man’s powershare for $1,000 all in. Got a spare tire, accessories and merch with my shop credit. no complaints.

I bought my AWD foundation used so I’ve always wondered if it originally came with it. It does have premium connectivity and FSD. Since this is my first Tesla what is the difference with premium connectivity?

For me having a FSCB with the perk of having a lifetime premium connectivity and FSD I’m fine with it. 99% of my charging has been at home, so supercharging doesn’t really apply for me. The other perks with Luxe would have been nice, but not necessary. However, when I’m finally done with my FSCB I will look out for deals that Tesla might be offering. By the way, the light bar is nice, but useless. I do 100% of my driving in the city where it’s illegal to use. So, it’s just something to show other CT owners that I have a CB. Lastly, the $2500 voucher was a waste to use on the Gateway. I thought it can power the whole house, but unfortunately that was the not the case for my house. It was only able to power the refrigerator, freezer and couple of other things. What a waste.

I agree we should get Lifetime charging and Tesla can keep the light bar that I never got.
