Same every time I disengage, I give that voice memo to the FSD team you guys should do the same if you’re not already.

We need to be able to plot the exact course that we want to take not simply select between what FSD thinks are the best options, and additionally the car needs to respond to us rejecting the turn signal or engaging the turn signal (which it does sometimes, but not consistently) input from the driver in that form should be taken as edict by the car.

I'll add a little something here.

When FSD is driving, rather than hear "Turn right on 5th street in 200 feet.", we should be hearing "I'm turning right on 5th street in 200 feet."

Every time I hear "In 200 feet, take the 2nd right on 5th street.", I think "Why are you telling me? You're driving!"
You gotta turn off the voice for GPS instructions!

I only use the voice when driving on a road trip so I don't miss my exits.

I have to turn mine off everytime I get close to home because it tries to take me the long way around my complex (through a side gate that may not be open) and doesn't even register the main entrance as an option.

Not sure how tesla fumbled the ball on this but I can't even leave my place through the main entrance. I report the bug every chance I get in hopes it will be fixed.
You can add the proper entrance as a way point (and additional ones if that isn't sufficient to force routing).
Admittedly, that's not as convenient as just saying "Navigate home"

I think this will be fixed with the CT next version.

I drive everyday to work and the GPS tells me everytime to take a wrong path to get there. It would be nice if I could be able to teach my car to drive the way I select. I hope sooner better than later the software learns to behave accordingly. (Advise to programmers)
Yes I would like that. We should be able to "record rout" when we leave home drive our rout to work and "save route".

Surprisingly enough, you can edit maps in Waze... It then updates Google Maps, which Tesla uses. It's especially useful if you have, say, a gate that's only open weekdays from 0500 to 1800...

I really needed this today. I wanted to go 417 in orlando to sanford but the maps want me to go to I4. It’s easier and usually faster on 417. I guess it must be picking the shorter route but going to I4 is a horrible idea if there’s another option.

Yes this is needed. The route I want to take usually is a different one then what the maps chooses. I have to select a destination that is on the way and then select a different one to get the route I want. There needs to be a way to save a route.
I have this exact same problem. Navigation chooses a route that's 1 mile longer because it has less turns, more highway driving, and one less traffic light. My preferred way has one more traffic light, a couple more turns, but the traffic is always light. They both take the same time to drive. My way saves me one extra mile of highway driving which consumes more energy. The Cybertruck uses a lot more energy at 65- 70 MHP than at 40-45 MPH.

This is definitely needed. The path it wants to take me to work has an extra traffic light. nav says it's identical time to not make the extra few turns. The problem is, FSD cannot figure out the intersection that nav wants it to go through. even 13.2.1. Where the traffic light is, the cameras cannot see all of the road lines painted where it's turning left into. So it cuts off a painted median as well as an oncoming left turn lane when it makes the turn.

This is what makes me pretty sure that it will only deviate from a planned turn if it thinks it will hit a car or a person. Because there 100% comes a point where it can see the road lines, and rather than avoid cutting off 2 lanes worth of painted lines, it just drives through them until they end.

I have a similar problem when I leave my girlfriend's house. The traffic light is so close to the stop point, and so high in the air, that FSD cannot see it. So it pulls up to the stopping point, stops, and then turns left on red because it forgot the traffic light was there (and couldn't see it even if it did remember). There are a lot of intersections like this around the country, so somehow they are going to have to expand the field of view. A human can lean forward and look up. FSD can't. Anyway, if I could just tell it to go the other way that takes an extra minute, I wouldn't have to wait until after the traffic light to turn it on.
