FSD Stopped, cruise stopped, parking brake degraded…

Final chapter: they called today and said it was ready- after 19 days. I anxiously drove the 3 hour trip and picked it up after hours. It was cleaned and charged. And it drove as sweet as it ever did on FSD home. Here was the diagnosis and treatment:

Did you ask for any consideration for the down time?

I am ~$1200 down from this with rental and hotels etc NOT including work off time to make 18 hours worth of trips (3 round trips). I am planning to face the Tesla Optimus chat bots today to recoup that loss some way. I will update here.

I have to say- I spent 4 days in the loaner MY and once I got back into the CT I immediately noticed 3 things: 1- the CT is HUGE inside! 2- it is soooo quiet inside and 3- it drives smoother than any car (forget about trucks- this is 5x’s smoother than my F150, F350, King Range Expedition etc) I’ve ever been in. They really did knock this out of the park (assuming it becomes reliable now).

Just imagine if they took your CT away- had it hooked up like on life support- gave you minimal updates and all this 3 hours from home only 20 days after you got yours. It’s been depressing but now am overjoyed- but cautious.
