FSD Stopped, cruise stopped, parking brake degraded…

Driving in left lane at 75mph suddenly FSD stops alarms go off. “FSD unavailable “”cruise unavailable “”parking break degraded””automatic vehicle hold degraded” car may be rolling” can’t remember the other alarms.

I reset from steering wheel. Nope

I hard reset for two minutes. Same issues.

am 2 hours into 6 hour trip. Thoughts?

Yesterday after the new update my GPS was as far off as 95 miles, over a 2 hour drive and FSD went crazy and went over double yellow lanes into a one way lane in the opposite direction.
Luckily it was so early in the morning there was no oncoming traffic.
I then suddenly take the wheel and take over and go down tons of points on my safety score.
Beware of the bugs of the new update.
I contacted service and support and after a while of troubleshooting and numerous calls they identified it was a software issue and not a hardware one.

How did you contact “support”? I got some random lady chatting text and was basically acting like I was calling Comcast for slow internet!! That’s why I now have zero trust to take that wonderful machine anywhere outside of my Franklin TN service area (best Tesla service in the world). It was disheartening.

Did not your posted screenshot of the truck monitor tell you what the problem was? Battery cable came loose.

“Charging Cable Disconnected”. Did that mean you are not charging? Why would it say that unless a cable came loose?

Don’t ask me. But I think that is just a checklist for the car When in tow mode. Making sure the charge cable to say a supercharger is not connected while the world is ending in alarms inside the CT.).

Through the app in various prompts. It was roadside assistance that put me through to support.
After driving in the opposite lane and it trying to make turns that don’t exist and switch into lanes on the right when I’m in the far right lane was crazy.
It worked out in the end but cost a couple of hours of wasted time on the phone for issues that shouldn’t exist.
They ran a diagnostic remotely and determined it was software related. I tried setting up an appointment and the soonest available in the area was the 29th. And I asked for a loaner in the meantime due to a safety issue, and they’re like, no way, you’ll just have to drive like a normal person, which is like okay, I don’t have a choice, however, to say the premium feature of which we all paid for it driving onto the opposite lane onto incoming traffic isn’t a safety issue, is a bit much.
Of course the disclaimer is that’s why it’s FSD “supervised “. Had I not been paying attention or nodding off, who knows what could’ve happened.

All and all, just wanted to throw out the concerns in case anyone else is experiencing it. I wish I could put the video, that’s too large when it’s having me drive through whole towns and forests 95 miles away from what the GPS was reading.

I had the same thing happen on a recent trip to Georgia. Twice. Both times, getting to a Supercharger, plugging it in, then going to get a bite to eat resolved it. I don't know what caused it, but the trip was a day after an update. I drove about 150 miles of the 600 mile trip with no autopilot, FSD, or cruise control. Has not happened since.

Probably cameras starting to fail. Happened to me the fixed the cabin camera and side camera. Unfortunately when one camera fails it starts to mess everything up even other parts of the HW4 computer etc.
