Great news. Imagine when you can summon from anywhere in the future. Get the evacuation notice and tell your car to leave when your stuck at work and can't get back.

Can't wait for unsupervised.

I'm unsure about the benefits of having FSD in this situation. Why not honor instead free premium connectivity or free supercharging? Seems like a questionable PR stunt...Better than nothing I guess!

The idea being is that people are stressed and may be getting strikes more often while evacuating... and even someone not supervising correctly is probably safer than a distracted driver without assistance.

I'd worry about non-evacuees abusing this, but as long as it's a short time it shouldn't raise alot of risk. It's a calculation no one has been able to make yet. We're in a grey territory which is only going to get more foggy as FSD gets better.

First real gripe. Tesla telling me how I can use something I paid for. I do not use self drive anyway, I enjoy driving. I dislike people telling me what to do and how to do it with something that cost me so damn much money. Glad they are helping the fire but if I could go back, I would just not get the self drive.

You're right! It's just too 'sketchy'

You're not required to participate in FSD Supervised. You can disable it.

yeah, I know. It is the fact that I paid for it. I understand having to be alert but I got a warning for changing the radio station. I do that driving now just taking a second. I have been for 30+ years. This is a little ridiculous. I am glad like I stated that they are helping the fire victims but seriously.

It hasn't been driving for 30+ years, though. That's the point. They're responsible for you being responsible for their robot.
