I love the freedom in other States but the geography and climate can’t be beat. From just a dollar’s and cents perspective the property is worth more if we rebuild and either sell or rent it out versus just trying to sell the dirt where the new owner would not be able to build on it because of stupid California Coastal Commission regulations.

No. We have to pull the lead Airstream out first to make room to connect our 3/4 Ton Suburban to tow the second Airstream .

They’re Unconstitutional implemented policies has created an overgrowth of vegetation they call Environmentally Sensitive Habitat Areas. These theoretical ESHA’s are mismanaged and controlled burns are no longer allowed. So now we have overgrown Super Highways of Fuel for some arsonists or some “homeless encampment” to ignite. Add the Santa Ana winds and you now see the fires to a scale we have not seen in the past.

Man, I feel for you - this is some crazy stuff. To have the chance to live in paradise but ruined by worthless politicians. Hope you and your family are safe and get spared from the fires.

The western edge of the fire is still about 6 miles away. Luckily the burn Scar of last month’s Franklin fire acts as a fire break between us and the Palisades fire. We finally got power back this morning for our area. Helicopters still transiting over us towards the fire. Thanks for asking

The air quality looks pretty good. 6 miles laterally and the burn scar between you and this fire is a good thing, Stay Safe! BTW, your dog barking at the choppers, got my dogs' attention.
