This is an attempt to inject a bit of levity. All this talk about class action suits, electrified trucks, domestic terrorism, CT phalanx at a punchless home made sign store protest, best ways to hate the haters, etc…. . This place is turning into such a drag that I’m concerned about range. It is the best vehicle ever made. That has to account for something.

Please realize you are saying that in a place that is a bubble of like-minds. The SS and 48V are standouts but most ignore that now as they are wrapped because of the maint. 48V is behind the scenes so is being ignored. It seems like other tech is/has been done by others or is old news (casting).

For the majority of people out there the Cybertruck is the butt of jokes.
The latest recall has not helped in that regard with 'parts' that can come off on the 'highway'.

Nobody who has driven one hates them. Less than 50k of them on the road means that is a small group.

The design is polarizing, Elon's actions make sure any negative gets publicized. The same day that the last embarrassing recall was public, Ford recalled 154k vehicles,no one noticed. I realize the scale is different, lower percentage of cars sold, but 3 times the number of buyers were affected.

I understand your point in general.

Scale is *dramatically* different and I don't think you can use a multiplier (3 times) to show why the "feeling" is different.

A quick search showed this for *2024*.
