"Tesla has paused production of the Cybertruck and Model Y at its Gigafactory in Austin, Texas, and one person thinks that the break could last through the end of the month.

After reporting news earlier this month that Tesla would pause Giga Texas production for upgrades to general assembly lines #2 and #3, drone videographer Joe Tegtmeyer reiterated the point on X on Wednesday, adding that he thinks the factory may keep Cybertruck and Model Y production paused until the end of September.

Despite this, he also notes that his recent video shows more employee vehicles in the Giga Texas parking lot, leading him to believe that the company is performing additional testing, training and calibration work."

Easier to disentangle the production lines is they're all stoped at once.

I think it's just coincidence that Cybertruck and the UAW strike are coming so close together.

When CYBERTRUCK finally gets into the hands of reservation holders, there'll be a SYMPHONY OF PAWS, BAW's _| and to 2B Frunk, a Ship load of AWES all OVER 'it'.

They are probably getting both General Assembly lines ready to support both CT and Model Y on the same line.

Tesla barely mixes Model 3 and Model Y assembly lines in practice. I think it's unlikely they're mix Cybertruck and Model Y.

Remember the last assembly step from the Austin Model Y went through the area they're prepping for Cybertruck now. So they're probably just making sure these two lines don't collide.
