As far as I can see I don't see any Powershare option, assuming it needs a software update for it to work. Very quick to get the Universal Wall Connector after ordering with the $700 credit. Still waiting on the V3 gateway, it hasn't been clear the status of that, I'm assuming they are saying they can make it work with any gateway but I wanted V3 because I'm still on V1 gateway with no functional cell connection.

FYI, it took forever to add it to my Tesla app through the commissioning process on my Android phone. I had to keep canceling and restarting the app and eventually it popped up to do a firmware update on it. Then after that it went though. However it never actually asked me to set a breaker size. Fortunately it defaulted or figured out that I am on a 60 amp breaker, so I didn't look into it anymore, but for someone installing on a smaller breaker I have no idea how you configure that since it never asked me.

Also, the app should be smart enough to know that I backed into my garage, not pulled in straight. Surely the car should know that since it has smart reverse/drive option.

I have tape in the back that lines up with the bumper so I know exactly where to stop.

I let them out in the driveway. I don't plan on keeping it like this, it's just the way it is for now.

Did Tesla send you the Universal charger? My designated installer company told me they can't give it to me unless they install it and if I don't use them to install it in 6 months I won't get the gateway or universal charger for free.

I never got a call from an electric company. Tesla ended up sending me a different survey since I already have Powerwalls but an old gen 2 connector. So then I got an email saying they were giving me a $700 credit to buy the connector, so I picked the universal one. I'm still waiting to hear about the gateway, which I want because my current one is V1.

I've got to ask again, did they release the power share app ? I already have 23K in solar, 3 power walls, and a Gateway & a The new universal charger. Does Tesla need to be notified to send the Power share out to me ?

I too have the Ver # 1 gateway, but mine is hard wired /either net cat5 cable hooked up and the Universal charge connected to the house wifi with no problems, everything load.
