I've been hesitant to run the truck through a car wash for the last 4 months of ownership, getting tiresome of hand washing to be honest..

You've been reading too much fake news from haters. Auto Car Wash is fine.
I echo rb92gt, auto washes are fine. I have taken mine in a touchless wash prob a good 35 times. No issues. Bed will get water in it if you don’t do some of the seal fixes out there.

I guess most people will find out the hard way in a few years when they consult with an endocrinologist and oncologist.

My biggest concern the whole time I’ve had the truck on order. How will I keep the car looking nice knowing the stainless steel oxidizes and it’s difficult to get a uniform finish.

Well, I got my beast last week. I tried a number of the different recommended cleaning solutions to wipe off fingerprints all of which were pain to keep very uniform without doing a whole Panel and even then they looked splotchy.

I have been looking at different wraps at to overcome my concern. No longer. Find a new auto car wash that sprays GRAPHENE

This is one where I live. It just opened so it has all the latest scrubber and spray technology. To answer the first question on everones mind…….no scratches. In fact it seems to removes oxidation, and polishes and gives a beautiful finished. I have taken it through three days in a row to saturate the stainless pores with the GRAPHENE. The water beads off of everything. For the monthly deal of 42 bucks you could take it through every day if you want.. It Automatically checks your tag number and lets you drive right through.

i am sure you can find a similar car wash in your area. I have no commercial interest.

You got jokes, that’s a good one. You never know, just don’t bathe in it?

The advertisement leads me to believe the graphene coating will be sprayed on. So that means they will be generating an aerosol graphene spray near (or on people).

Breathing carbon nanoparticles into your lungs is extremely ill-advised lol.

i used 303 Graphene Nano coating on the hood. That stuff stinks like petroleum and spraying it would be concerning to those around.

It was also impossible to buff off the SS, unlike paint which is easy to buff off.

I can imagine. Any of the Cleaning or protective additives I’ve tried all seem to have the same problem when coating bare stainless by hand they end up being very UN-uniform. and trying to buff it off is both a pain in the ass and near impossible.. the big advantage an automatic car wash has is being quick cheap and easy and that it applies coatings quick uniformly and blows off the excess in drying.

This is my windsheild solution. It doubles as an extension pole to clean my home’s windies on the second floor.

Haha, yeah, I'm using the wide squeegee for my solar panels that has a scrubber on the backside. I still haven't figured out a good solution for the inside of the windshield though.

My truck is filthy because it hasn't been washed in 3 weeks. Mud splashes, insects, tree sap, berries, etc. I've been having too much fun off-roading. I do keep the glass clean, because I love the view out, but I think the Cybertruck looks just as spectacular dirty as it does sparkling clean. Maybe a bit better!
Pic?

Looked a little bit into it.

Looks like "graphene" coatings are just ceramic coatings with graphite sprinkled in.
