If you have ever been blinded by a side rear view mirror, as I have, you might think this is a terrible idea. With SO MUCH flat surface I fear this is going to cause accidents, or at a minimum people blaming a polished Cybertruck even if it was not the cause. They might even ban this process and even the high mirror wraps, especially when there are millions on the road.that is crazy looking. It is super bright in stock form, i can't imagine what this would look like when the sun hits it right.
That needs Borophene coating put on it since Borophene is the first real coating that will correctly bond to bare metal.
I doubt it's illegal. The sun is way brighter, you just look away when needed. They can't outlaw the sun, right? When you're driving into the blinding evening sun, you do your best to not look at it directly. It really is that simple. After all, a fully polished CT isn't brighter than the sun, is it? It's just reflecting the suns' light, not augmenting it. Relax, people, just look away.Looks amazing! This is definitely not legal though. If it were, then you would see a lot more fully chrome-plated vehicles driving around.
Should consider using Granitize X20-18 to protect the polished finish. I used it on the Leading Edges of the Gulfstreams I flew, albeit those were polished aluminum and not polished stainless. https://granitize-europe.com/products/x20-aeci-3-pint-bottle-for-brightworkFirst hand polished Cybertruck I've seen.

Polishing is not dustyafter getting a couple metal slivers this past weekend, i was kind of amazed to see them not wearing any eye protection, wow
Tell me you've never used a buffing wheel without telling me you've never used a buffing wheelPolishing is not dusty
Not legal? Really?? Proof of this ?Looks amazing! This is definitely not legal though. If it were, then you would see a lot more fully chrome-plated vehicles driving around.
Actually... I've used my buffer for years (even painted and prepped a car) and never thought eye protection was needed. I'm sure it isn't a bad idea but I never got any polish or buffing compound on me. It sticks to the wheel pretty good.Tell me you've never used a buffing wheel without telling me you've never used a buffing wheel
ProtectaClear would definitely protect this finish. I was wondering how they planned to protect this finish as it is going to show every blemish more than the original finish.this has been my intention from the start.
Would @ProtectaClear go over the top or some other type of graphene or ceramic coating?
