I'm so sick and tire of folding the CT ginormous sunshade in a confine cabin. i stumble upon a retractable one on Amazon and wonder has anyone pull the trigger on one yet. It seem like a practical summer product so i'm just wondering.

No. I’m curious myself but when you go to order it on hanshow’s website it estimates a pretty long delivery time so I don’t know if anyone has one yet.
Could you link to the Amazon one you found?

be cautious of the very long delivery time, especially when they want your money up front. Gives em plenty of time to run away.

I only use the giant shade if it's sitting somewhere for a while. Daily I use a regular shade that I used in the Y. One of the ones with two metal rings that twist up small, and I store it between the console and passenger seat. It sits only halfway down the dash but the extended visors keep it up fine. Doesn't cover above the visors, but I have 5% tint from the cameras up so it's dark up top there. I tried the umbrella style shade too and it was still just too cumbersome for daily use.

This feels a little janky with two separate sections. You're going to need strings on the pulls to reach it easily. And how well does it roll in and out. I'd wait for some reviews. Hansshow is legit, making Tesla accessories for years, but I would hesitate buying the first gen of anything expensive as there are usually improving iterations to the products. That said, price doesn't seem bad on this vs other shade options.

I use a solid roof shade all summer to minimize sun but in black it really makes the back seat a dark cave, so I'm continually tempted by the expensive power roof shade, but I don't notice from the front seat so it's a little hard to justify. But if they could make a powered windshield shade, that sounds super convenient.

This was my first piece of feedback when they asked me to review the product. They are now looking at adding strings/pulls for the production run.

I really wish they’d make a motorized product like the one for the Y.
If they do make a motorized one, hopefully they include another defective wiring harness like they did for their rear view mirror - My drivers side speakers are still working properly so they need to get on it to make sure they knock those out too. Thanks for the Lay-up.... @Hansshow Technology get your shit together.

Wonder the length of the 3/Y one vs the CT windshield.. Maybe you can overlap two of these to make it work, that's pretty much what they did with the manual one it looks like. Of course that would mean not one but 2!!! defective wiring harnesses from @Hansshow Technology for you to splice in - so you can sit in total silence with all your speakers knocked out but it'll be dark and cool - think of it like a sensory deprivation chamber. Or add the roof one and go for the trifecta.
