Lol the most I've had is the random middle finger which or large pickup revving it's engine. Maybe happened 4 times total over the last 7k miles.
In person nobody is confrontational. If I know their politics I can either pitch the truck at trying to save the world (EV) or it's American AF.

Unfortunately it’s the antics/politics of the current CEO that causes so much hatred towards the Cybertruck.

The Board of Directors must be pulling their hair out.

I’ve heard from several of my acquaintances about how much they hate Musk and especially the Cybertruck. Some of them used to be Musk’s fanbois before Musk switched the political views. Just as much as they were radical in supporting Musk before, they are now radical in hating on Musk. But the Cybertruck drives them especially crazy.

Has anyone been personally confronted and/or threatened for owning a Cybertruck?
This makes little sense. As far as I can tell, Musk's political views haven't moved significantly, it's the party that moved too far left for him (and many others). Musk is siding with the solid majority (but his views have remained largely unchanged).

You do know I was stating a fact?
Notably, the fact that Nazis were forced to divest and Hitler is in fact dead, kinda makes your 'fact' a teensy bit out of context.

Elon is very much still alive, still runs the company, and still posting factually incorrect and gullible things every day. Hitler is not.

THIS! Not to be too political, but the left is far more aggressive than the right despite what the fake news media wants you to believe.
This is false. I won't go into it, but no. Just look up lists of deaths or terrorism attributed.

Strange thing about this politics thing is that Elon never moved from his position about politics. The left just shifted way left. It seems the CyberTruck owners in California are getting most of the hate.
This is three false statements. One, is that his positions are public and published. Two, is that there's no evidence of 'the left shifting left'. Three is that there's no evidence of more hate in California.

I just find it kinda odd that now that he isn’t on the left and leaned toward the right he now becomes a bad person. Those are his beliefs not yours.
Dude, it's not the right vs left that's bad. It's the gullibility and posting easily contradicted falseholds, some of which endanger people.

Basically, the cops couldn't care less if a car were broken into. They aren't going to do anything. The thieves and the vandals roam free with no risk of being arrested.
You do understand you're allowed to criticize the police, right? Might bring that up with politicians and get an oversight board involved for them not doing their jobs. Hopefully the idea that police failing to follow through with reports and evidence would be non-partisan.

Truthfully, the only reason I haven't canceled my order is that I still believe that if Tesla fails, we're totally screwed, because all of the other car company would immediately deprioritize there EVs, in fact, they already have. It's a moral conundrum for me.
Same. EVs should be non-political. They're a net good. Even if they were running on fossil fuel - you can build better emissions handling and fuel efficiency at a power plant than you can inside a car or truck.

The problem is that they are sycophants - so hair very much intact.

Lets get back to the thread topic.
All this off topic started when Surfbigisland came in to cause problems. I apologize for responding to him rather than just continuing with the topic.

[EDIT]
Fighting amongst ourselves only gives whoever choses to be cybertruck owners opposition a win.

Did you compare Musk to Hitler? You know how it goes for anyone when one resorts to bringing up Hitler for making a point? One loses any credibility. And yes, you are the one who did it, not the other guy. He just pointed out that VW was created by Hitler, which is a historical fact.

Weirdly, I am not the person who brought up Hitler. Do you have "Electric Metal" blocked?

O boy , It was a great response not a history lesson 😂. But you’re saying because Hitler is dead it’s ok to drive a VW but Elons alive so if you hate him it’s not ok? 😂 ok
