I filed a police report against this woman for continually harassing me on the roads and at the local supermarket all recorded on video (getting in front of my truck and telling me to move this piece of Sh$t , throwing fingers, pointing and laughing. Once or twice is fine but daily for a couple weeks I had enough.

Ok, LOL, now that was a kind and thoughtful response. I'm still not sure I can stay though. The trouble is, I do a lot of research for my Non-profits, and I've seen the devastation with my own eyes, the total, irreparable destruction of coral reefs is only one example. I'm just crumbling inside, I can't take it. Thank you for kind comment.
OK -- but are you really blaming the CT? Tesla? or Elon? for reef destruction?
really?
I understand that you don't like Trump/MAGA/Coal etc....but do you really think Elon is trying warm our planet and thus destroy reefs?
Ultimately if you want "change" you need to work from the inside, with people who can actually help your cause. Carrying signs in the streets is cute and all but it rarely changes things. Once you understand that you might begin to understand why Elon has embraced MAGA.

Confronted. Yeah by an armored truck driver. He said he would trade. He had a gun. I said sure. Does yours have more than pennies in it I asked? I held the door open for him.

Was quite the confrontation.
No pic? I vote for the bear. WE WANT THE BEAR! Just saying…

I recently said in another post my experience has been 1/3rd positive, a little over 1/3rd don't care, and about 1/4th are negative.
And what do the other 9% think?
The 9% is the little over 1/3rd that don't seem to care about it at all. Probably that this area is that close to DC and there are all kinds of expensive things around the DC area.

Before wrapping my truck, I encountered negativity daily—thumbs down, “loser” signs, and even being flipped off.

The day I wrapped it in satin black, everything changed. People started giving me compliments, thumbs up, and even walking up to tell me how much they admired it.

Now, with the addition of four crossbars and Starlink, the compliments have shifted beyond just the truck—they’re directed at me personally!

The other day at In-N-Out, an employee came up and said, “Man, I saw your truck, then noticed the Starlink, and thought, this guy is legit.”

It’s hard to explain, but the stainless steel finish seemed to provoke a strong reaction in people. The transformation after the wrap has been remarkable.
Seems like the black makes it seem like a normal truck more. The stainless stands out.. People are attracted to shiny objects lol

Ya, I figured that would be a response, but no, these are life long friends and family members, their love is unquestionable.

You're correct. And most of the stuff I have is hand-me-down, but still, I understand what you're saying, and I've said the same thing to my friends in the early days, before Elon bought Twitter, "the only difference between Elon and other CEOs is that the other CEOs know to keep their mouths shut." I'm not ignorant about their views, but, the things Elon says and does are impossible for me to ignore.
I just find it kinda odd that now that he isn’t on the left and leaned toward the right he now becomes a bad person. Those are his beliefs not yours.

Here is my last thought…………. I preordered the truck in 2019. Not one time did Musks political views AT THE TIME sway me in my decision. I wanted the truck for its aesthetic appearance and being different from the norm. I just can’t believe that someone’s political view would stop you from buying something???? Life is too short to let politics have a stranglehold over your everyday life. All I know is that each day you waste your time worrying about someone’s political point of view, you are missing out on a truck that I believe is one of best vehicles I have owned.

Im in CA near Silicon Valley, and I occasionally get a thumbs down. No violence to the vehicle.

To me , if they weren't getting mad at the truck, it would just be something else.

THIS! Not to be too political, but the left is far more aggressive than the right despite what the fake news media wants you to believe.
I've informed the Clinton Foundation of your location. The hit squad should be arriving shortly.

I’ve heard from several of my acquaintances about how much they hate Musk and especially the Cybertruck. Some of them used to be Musk’s fanbois before Musk switched the political views. Just as much as they were radical in supporting Musk before, they are now radical in hating on Musk. But the Cybertruck drives them especially crazy.

Has anyone been personally confronted and/or threatened for owning a Cybertruck?
YES! I live in one of the most over educated communities in the country, Boulder, Colorado. At first all the conservatives hated Musk and EV’s in general dismissed as “tree hugger crap“. Then when Elon switched sides (probably based on the way Biden treated him)… the liberals hate him too.
After being accosted several times, I don’t even want to go out anymore.
…And there was the Road Rage incident back in July!
Lots of haters out there!

I ignore everyone, really don't care what anyone else thinks.

The issues they have are not with any business or political figure but with themselves.

sometimes people want to cause damage! One guy told a group of kids that they can kick my truck! My truck is wrapped and will scuff. Ignorance is not funny to me.

initially, I tried to ignore just the negative people, but it’s hard to find out. I had a drunk grandma approached me, and I thought I was going to be assaulted..
There are some nice curious people out there, but it’s hard to tell. If you ignore everyone that it fits into the snob stereotype..
The worst is the haters on Facebook, who are sucking up to their friend base.
