My plan is to adorn it with some mud. Maybe a nice smelly gas station tree hanging from the rear view mirror. Oh, and a bumper sticker that reads "my other ride is Your Mom". I figure that will endear me to the locals.

I have tools I keep in my vehicle most of the time. I’d like a way to mount them. I’ve seen similar systems to this that work well. This image was the result of 10 seconds of searching.

Also, pretty sure the clamps you are assuming is required for the tool system are actually part of the overhead rack system.
Or sides of an off-road/overlander truck camper.

Not doing anything that might impact range even a little. At least nothing permanent, bike racks or bikes standing in the vault are very likely.
The ship of that hit on range with truck camper mounted on the Cybertruck must have already sailed before even installing those extraction mount and tools.

Cracks me up when I see trucks driving around with tent campers on the roof. People install those things and push them around 365 days a year and might use them 20 days a year… most are just permanent roof mounted parachutes.

The price they are willing to pay for their truck to be screaming outdoorsman here, lol.

i'd like to see a DIY wrap company pop up, i'm sure we'll see them. hang out in the garage and add your fun wrap for July 4th, Christmas, sports stuff, Family Truckster, beach patrol, moon buggy, whatever! maybe even just some stripes. i'm thinking if the basic kit could be $300 or below, there'd be a lot of takers for temporary fun... CT!!!

Please go back and read the question I was responding to. The last sentence was:

"How will you help your Cybertruck stand out?"

And my answer was that I would not be doing anything specifically to help my Cybertruck "stand out" because I'm not a peacock.

YOU can customize it however you want and for whatever reasons make YOU happy.
Why does 'stand out' have to mean peacocking?

Why can't it just mean 'unique enough to pick out from a distance.'?

My car isn't a peacock, but it definitely stood out in the image.

My Roof Nest rooftop tent is currently in my shed. I built a holder that the tent slides onto. It only comes out when I go camping although I might leave it on a bit more during the summer. I leave my lumber rack on year young unless I need to carry rocks or garden-type dirt. It comes off in about 5 minutes so not a big deal. I'm hoping to do the same thing with the CT although it will be a few years before I dump landscape rock into the CT's bed. I know it will get scratched up sooner or later but will try and keep it clean for as long as I can.

Looking at the video someone posted in another thread, it’s going to be very hard to cover up the stainless too much, it’s so cool watching the reflections play across the truck when it’s moving under lights.

I do think it would be nice to make a few personalizations, but that stainless when clean is going to be rad.
