I have a VIN!!!.....but Tesla changed me to white interior.

I ordered the grey interior and just received an email with a VIN / order update that lists the white interior. Has anyone else had this happen? How did you reject the change?

I think you'll have to hit the Review button. While reviewing, you should be able to make a change. But, don't take my word. I broke a shoelace this morning.

The older 11k VIN suggests a customer rejected car that was reworked or a CT that was waiting on parts. New builds are very close to the 16k VIN range right now.

Just got my VIN today - white and I ordered the gray. Let me know what you decide. Pre-ordered CB 11/19 - ordered 1/10/2024. A little nervous about getting it now. Showroom is 4 hours away. If issues - not sure how they will deal with me once they have my money. Getting insurance quotes. State Farm was 183/month so checking other local options tomorrow.

Tesla did the same to me, ordered the core tires.

Tesla changed me to cyber wheels and gave me a VIN.

Went into the store to see what is up.

They were great said i could take the car now which was a 6000 series vin, or wait for the core tires.
Decided to wait and they changed my config back to core tires and released the vin

I would be suspicious of any older VIN #. Don’t accept a customer rejected truck!

I've been unable to reach Tesla by phone (too late in the day I suppose). I'll try again tomorrow. My plan is to reject delivery since it isn't the config that I ordered.

Lol because someone else's inability to get financing or pick it up is terrible for the new recipient.

I've called over 20 times since placing order. App is useless.
It asked for ""registration information"
What is that? My account is up to date. I have 2 Tesla.

Same thing happened to me. My SC is not that far away and I went in there (actually got to see the white interior CT associated with that VIN) but decided to swap back to the tactical grey interior and Core tires (and thus gave that VIN back). Back in line for another several months of awaiting (hopefully) but get what you want. You are paying a lot of money for it.
