i bought a foundation recently but there was no mention of the install credit.

If manufactured before May 22,2024 you might qualify if you own a FS Beast. May 5th of this year is the last day to submit a survey for PowerShare installation credit.

I am told it already exists and is working. I have the gateway and two wall chargers on a shelf awaiting the contractor. They are coming next week to install 50 solar panels on my roof, with a single Tesla powerwall, and they say it will operate immediately with my CT.

Trying to get some quotes on a power wall and power share for my home in Michigan. How can I find out if it’s truly available and turned on here? Had one installer tell me that yes they’re available and they will work here just had another installer tell me that they don’t work in Michigan yet I have a cyber truck and totally confused.

Our powershare was activated just a few weeks ago. ( we also have Solar)

Why did it take so long to activate it? Was it related to town permits?

For the price of the PowerShare install I can get a natural gas generator installed that runs for weeks and runs my entire home. Tesla "certified" installers are gouging Tesla customers and making PowerShare not a good value. Tesl;a needs to just let customers buy the PowerShare and let its customers find there own installers

I have a 55kwh generator at my farm with a GM V-8 propane engine. Costs about $2k per year to maintain plus fuel. Replacing with power wall and CT backup is price-justified.

PowerShare installation price should be below $4000 in most cases with the approval of Tesla backup switch.

It lists all the utilities that have approved backup switch for PowerShare installation.
If you are still quoted a $8000+ price tag for the installation, which is for the backup load center installation, check if backup switch is available in your region.
