My understanding is the same as yours.
For the data rates used by the vehicle, 5G UWB is unnecessary, and 4G and 5G is on the same technology base (LTE i.e. Long Term Evolution). 4G will continued be supported like the old WiFi 802.11b and USB1/USB2 etc.

You can find out if your tesla is configured with HW4 by looking at vision cameras. If it shows red (dot) in the Lense than it is H4.
Correct.

Well, other than your use of "than" rather than "Then"... But, yeah. HW4 cameras have the red in the lens.

This is now in the menu 'software' and 'additional vehicle information' dialog box.

The below is an example of my HW3 designation in my '17 TMX.

Cybercab (and hopefully Cybertruck and any CyberSUV) will have HW5 (AI5), right?

I am still unsure if CT could get AI5 as an upgrade, which makes me very sad and concerned when I finally decided to buy the CT last week. Originally opted for base model CT to replace in 2 to 4 years but FUSC got me.

Also CyberSUV you mean RoboVan? The CT is basically a CyberSUV

Likewise, I think I'll go for a lease arrangement if/when we get a Cybertruck or ideally a CyberSUV.

No, I'm referring to this hint from Elon Musk from November 2024:

" Tesla Robovan is in development. Some other things too."

I'd sure like a CyberSUV very similar to Cybertruck but with enclosed heated/cooled rear area with more (fold-down-flat) seats in place of the "vault". Even better for camping and such, when bed-type hauling is not really needed. Similar standard truck size would be just fine for us.
