The charger uses the same circuits for charging as it does for providing onboard AC.

As heresmycybertruck said, it's been mentioned that will come in a future software patch.

It'll probably be passthrough current, unless you're not using all of the charging circuits. (My Ecoflow Delta Pro does this) So it'll reduce your ability to charge the truck (which is kind of a no-duh, right?)

So if we plan trip , staying in hotel they have EV charger , portable fridge plugged in to the CT . It come with cigarettes lighter plug .. I don’t think there is cigarettes lighter outlet in the truck..

So we have to choose between keep food

Oh heck this is a scenario I currently use in our TMX/Model X road-tripping. We run our fridged 24x7 while on road trips. Currently, in the TMX, I run power from the 4-pin electric trailer brake plug (link).

Well, depending upon how much power you're drawing, you can plug it into USB or directly into the 48v system with an adapter. Those provide DC like the old 12v plug is looking for.

Those systems still have power while charging via AC. Only the AC 120/240 outlets are disabled.

He did not specify if this applies to DC charging or AC charging or both? Seems if you were actively DC charging the onboard outlets should be able to deliver up to approx 9.6Kw (maybe someone could verify this). Maybe his statement applies if you were AC charging which makes some sense.

Well, both would require different logic in the software.

As far as I know they do work during DC charging currently.
