I did a quick poll on the tracker website and it looks like i’m 500+ still in line for a VIN number. Unless they dump a bunch all at once in KC, I’m not expecting anything until late summer.
How’d you come up with that number? Doesn’t seem too far away if they’re cracking out 80/day or whatever

Given the fact they are continuing to deliver to CA/TX with later RNs/orders and only 60+ reported on the last 30 days. Also my 500 pending VIN may actually be more like 3,000-5000 based on this site metrics are crowd sourced from a small percentage of orders.

CA SF zipcode, 49 days since config, still waiting for vin...

what's worse is that, based on everything I've read, I should be getting a vin soon. I probably checked the app for a total of 5 times in the first 30 days knowing I'm still weeks away from a vin, but now I just keep checking every 30 minutes....
Those are rookie numbers bro.. need to up it to every 10 mins or less + a minimum of three refreshes once app opens for good luck

????????
You're in texas, you stand a chance of being in an end of quarter push. For the rest of us I think they've already given up on the EOQ push. Maybe AZ and UT are still possible for a few more days.

I bet we see a lot of later texas orders delivered the last week of the quarter

I doubt they will prioritize TX or any nearby locale simply to get CT deliveries in by quarter end. With CT production being such low numbers, it will have no meaningful effect on revenue, the balance sheet, and since they will bundle CT with S/X, it wont even noticeably move the numbers on the investor slide deck for this quarter.

Tesla stock has always moved independently of the revenue and balance sheet. If they could say 4000 cybertrucks delivered instead of 3000, and all they had to do was send the trucks somewhere closer, they're going to do it.

eh, i don't see it.

I think there are bigger fish to fry. The end of quarter push is to meet delivery numbers which CT will have no effect on when we're talking 400k-500k units total globally. On top of this, Tesla did not guide last quarter, so with no expectations set, i doubt they will waste brain cycles fiddling with logistics.

We shall see.
