Hey everyone (else),

Just a friendly reminder that some of us are still out here in reservation trenches, clutching our order confirmations like it's the last roll of toilet paper in 2020.

Ordered my Cybertrucks on 2/15, with a couple of practically the Stone Age Cybertruck reservations (you know, before the window incident and everything).

Starting to suspect Elon earmarked my trucks for a personal Mars adventure. Maybe I should've placed a higher bid for the privilege?

Anyone else experiencing the joys of a super low RN and a perpetually chill VIN?

In solidarity,

A Very Patient (or Maybe Not So Patient) Cybertruck hopeful

AWD or Cyberbeast?
Just AWD for me. Opted for range instead of speed, which I’m sure I will regret at first & be grateful for down the road. There's a software update for other models to boost your acceleration speed, so I’m assuming there will be something similar down the road for Cybertruck.

Nothing wrong with that... You can't go wrong either way!

I was asking since you ordered just over a week before me so I was hopefully for a VIN soon... But I ordered a Cyberbeast, so I seriously doubt I'm that lucky =\

I don’t know if there is any rhyme or reason, but I did make my original reservation the day it was announced in November of 2019. the 22 I believe. I have a pretty "low" RN. But who knows. I do think CA deliveries are happening faster than other states for some reason.
Many configured orders much earlier than your Feb one, including December, still unfilled for AWD.

Super pumped. Configured on Feb 20 & got a VIN this morning! still not able to schedule delivery, but I am one step closer & super excited!
So, since I Configured 2 weeks after, that means I’m probably NOT getting my VIN 2 weeks from now. ? Congratulations.

I think they went out in certain batches. Maybe due to location?
You know, I think you might be onto something there. The Cybertruck delivery process does seem a bit mysterious, but the location factor could definitely play a role.

It would make sense that Tesla would want to optimize their logistics and prioritize deliveries in certain regions first. Maybe they're starting with customers in closer proximity to the production facilities, or tackling high-demand markets before expanding outward.

That said, I can't help but feel a little envious of the folks who've already got their hands on those stainless steel beauties. I ordered mine 2 months ago, but I'm still patiently waiting for my VIN assignment.

Watching everyone else cruise around in their new trucks is both exciting and agonizing! But I know my day is coming.

Hopefully Tesla has a rhyme and reason to their delivery schedule. Maybe they're strategically staggering things to avoid overwhelming their service centers all at once. Or perhaps there are some technical hurdles they're working through behind the scenes.

Whatever the case may be, I'm doing my best to stay positive. The Cybertruck is worth the wait, and I know I'll be an even prouder owner for having weathered the anticipation. In the end, I'm sure location will be a minor footnote compared to the thrill of finally getting that truck in my driveway.

Congratulations, that is awesome. I received my VIN March 10th (ordered 12/29) and took delivery in Upland 9 days later. This is the toughest part, however, it is worth the wait.

You will get a call to schedule delivery. I was so pumped when I got the call. The Upland team was awesome and I had a great delivery experience.

I just saw an YouTube video from TFL where they were frustrated that they weren’t getting their Foundation Series even though they ordered it back in December. They don’t even have a VIN yet. That’s not right!!! Tesla really needs to step up their game and start shipping out CT to people who waited in line patiently. In the video, they even said people in California and Texas are getting their non-foundation series trucks. Lastly, Tesla is saying currently they are only delivering to four states - California, Texas, Florida and Michigan. Although, you hear on this platform, people have been getting them all over the nation. I’m on the bottom of the totem pole, so I don’t expect an invite till the end of this year, if even that. However, Tesla this is for you, if you want the CT to be a success, stop skipping people who been waited for over four years for theirs. I can see where you want to give it to celebrities and content creators on the social media platforms, but that’s only a spec of sand on a beach. If you make other reservation holders wait any longer, especially when they constantly see other people getting theirs, they will look elsewhere.

Congrats, OP!!

I configured on 03/15 (with a 01/18 invite). I keep hoping that my invite date will magically get me a VIN sooner than my confirgure date would suggest, haha!!

(I know, I know...hope in one hand, sh*t in the other and see which one fills up first, haha!!)

It's still crazy to me that my invite was from RN#1128473xx but I have an earlier reservation at RN#1127486xx that still shows "We'll let you know".
Patience is a virtue. I finally received my VIN, (4-10-2024). So excited. I hope the delivery goes well.
