Really? So he washed the CT, found the very obvious blemish (your words) and didn’t tell you? Or he did and you told him to go ahead anyway? I am a bit confused but it is your car and situation.
Emphasis added:
it's under PPF now (my film guy told me he'd do the new one for me gratis).
Why not give the customer the wrap they wanted? What is the downside?

It’s standard practice for wrap shops to take before and after pics—specifically for this reason. Ask them for intake pictures. I’m skeptical that the truck was delivered like that, but, also wouldn’t be surprised if it was. ?

Either way, it’s a fixable problem so no sweat—put the onus on Tesla either way and it’ll be covered under warranty.
Either it was delivered this way, or the ppf guy is dishonest. This guy does Lear jets; he's the go-to for the whole local Porsche community and the dealership as well. So its hard for me to believe that. I took delivery during a brief lull in a winter storm; it was well below freezing outside and the ground was a wet, salty, sandy mess. I had a single paper floormat in the driver's side floorboard. the tesla employee sat down in the passenger seat (with nothing covering his dirty shoes) with me in the driver's seat and gave me the idiot's guide to pairing my phone. there was no exterior inspection. i had dressed for the cold, but the Tesla employee had on a izod-style shirt and a track jacket. I asked if i could purchase floor mats, and i was told that i could PURCHASE them but they didn't have them in stock so I would have to wait for them to be delivered. It was the strangest car purchasing experience i've ever had. I was not really impressed with the dealership, or service center, or whatever-it-is that they are calling themselves. The truck already had sand and salt all over it just from (I assume) putting it in its parking spot on their premises. So the whole experience was, quite honestly, disappointing.

I called them when the ppf guy showed me the blemish, and they told me i needed to make an appointment for service, and their first availability for that wasn't until the second half of March. I'm still waiting for my floor mats to arrive.

Well at least you didn’t have to take delivery from St Louis MO.
