The BFG KO series is their all terrain series, best for on/off road general all weather travel with an off road leaning bias. The tread pattern is designed more for road grip.
The BFG KM series is their mud terrain series and is really an off road tire that does decent in a lot of on road conditions. It won't be as good in the rain, ice, and snow as the KO series. It has worse tire wear, more noise, and worse fuel mileage. But it cleans out mud, sand, and rocks a lot better than anything the KO series can do. The tread pattern is designed more to grab rocks and has almost a paddle design for throwing loose materials behind the tire pushing it forward.

I've been running the KO series on my Tacoma for years and just play around off road but use it full time on road.

If you go KM you are planning on a lot of off roading time and more complex terrain.
Great explanation. I love the KO tires as well on my 4runner.

I don’t personally think it’s worth the range loss to daily ATs. I live in Moab and have yet to take my CT on anything resembling a trail that would require AT tires in 15k+ miles of mostly freeway driving… I’d rather have more range.
That’s why I went with the AS.

Yes...but have you considered that they look cooler? Because I also have not done any off roading and will not for a long time but I also keep my Cybertruck on High and use the AT tires because of aesthetics. But I know I am not fooling anyone...they know I dont offload.

Looking forward to hearing about freeway range data.

Those look great! Any chance you can pull the wheel covers off and take a picture?

I off road all the time but I think the whole Countach look with wrapped bumpers and Forgiato 22s look better than the more rugged look. I’m not sold on the off road CT “look” because it screams mall crawler.
Do you have photos of one of your fleet trucks? Just like seeing pics.
I only have a personal fleet these days…
but I know AS tires do just fine in absolutely insane winter conditions as I drove this Jeep (with AS tires that people moan about in forums) from the Denver airport last March in one of the worst storms I’ve ever seen. It kept on snowing so the next day was just as crazy and I almost got stuck in front of my house right as a plow finally came by. People tend not to realize it matters more how much ground clearance you have versus what tires you’re running. A sedan with studded Nokians is still getting stuck in a foot of snow while a lifted whatever with bald tires will probably float its way out of the same conditions. This same Jeep ran into a drift on a remote road at 10k feet and I had to dig it out (with a pair of cheap plastic gutter shovels). An EV like the CT with more mass might have carried through that extra few feet (while totally blinded) but maybe the lower ground clearance would have slowed it down faster. I know the tires wouldn’t have mattered as much as ground clearance and momentum.

Our winter fleet back in the day were private car service vehicles and a few were Subaru Outbacks but we also had A RWD van (on winter tires), a FWD minivan (that ran winter tires), a sedan, and Navigators/Expedition. Almost all of our fleet have been “stuck” at some point. I once drove off the road (distracted combined with a deer jumping out in front of the guy in front of me) in an Outback and launched down a steep bank of snow that saved me from hitting a tree. Outback was dragged out with barely a scratch.

Ironically they don't look as aggressive on the cybertruck as they do on other trucks I've seen them on. LoL

These are my plan with probably the Martian Wheels 18" Cyber Rover beadlock wheels, they seem to be the most reasonably priced right now. We've also seen a cybertruck all over offroad with them.

Did you go with the 35"x12.5" or the 285x60/70/75 tire size?
Went with stock

I found the K03s increased road noise over the stock ATs; probably slightly less range too. But well worth if only because they look amazing.
