because F1 steering columns don’t turn more than 3/4, and F1 cars don’t have dashboards?

And with variable gain steering you won’t have to turn more than 3/4 either. And, I don’t think the CT is coming with a dash either!

All I am saying is, rather than everyone hoping it only comes “their favorite way”, how about hoping it comes with the option so everyone can get what they want?

I think they will offer both options. Probably round as standard.

Round steering wheel was spotted in the recent Tesla Bot update video inside a Cybertruck prototype.

From the Tesla Bot update video:

I should be an option. Pulling in and out of a parking lot with a round steering wheel that you can grab at any angle is the best for maneuvering. Once FSD is a thing and no one barely drives anymore then we can transition to a yoke, or for those that like it. The yoke makes more sense for sportier vehicles with smaller turning radiuses.

If the CT gets steer by wire progressive steering it is no longer the same debate….round, semi-round, or yoke All work.
