I have noticed my truck has the same issue “ the front motor disabled “ since Sunday. I am bringing it in today. Is this something that can’t be fixed???
I don't want to speak ill of the truck or Tesla. Hopefully you have a better resolution. Not sure how common this is, but for me, it's been several times now. Always the front and not the rear.

Did they ever resolve your issue? I brought it in and they said they might need to replace the front motor

I know I can pick up a new one but the things that truck has seen from March of 2024 till now makes it weirdly sentimental.
Oh I get that. Sometimes the vehicle is more than transportation, it becomes part of the adventure. Sounds like another Cybertruck could be in your future. Maybe try to get VIN 100,000 just for fun...?

No experience with Tesla. But I had a BMW replaced under my state's Lemon Law statute.

First step is to research and understand your state's specific law. That statute will detail the specific criteria where the law gets triggered.

It's also important to understand that most (all?) Lemon Laws are intended to redress very serious mechanical and safety issues. Not the whole host of less serious aggravations that vehicles can exhibit.

Second step is to document all communications and service visits. Precise dates, times, who you communicated with, what was done.

Before you consider talking to Tesla, document everything into a concise, compelling summary.

You can engage a lawyer if you want, but they'll exact their own pound of flesh... and if your case is truly compelling, they shouldn't be needed. My exchange with BMW was done without lawyers. If you have a compelling case, Tesla will already know it.

Keep everything civil and professional. Just the facts.

For those few members who have been successful with a lemon law trade in, how did you get around the arbitration clause in the order agreement? I wasn't aware of that when I got mine and it seems to be putting off lawyers in helping otherwise.

I have an issue that has yet to be resolved. My 5th visit for the same thing will be this week. Looking to get some kind of trade, extended warranty, etc if possible. Any pointers or guidance would be appreciated.
I requested a buy back in November 2024 and after months returned it Feb 2025. It was the better option then going through the Lemon Law option. It wa pretty simple just a long process

What do you mean that you returned it? Confused how you were able to do this?
