Check the reveal videos, three across the back row is not that bad for adults unless all adults enjoy Large dinners.

Everyone knows you need something to cover the passengers and protect them from the weather. Here's my preferred mod in a pinch...

It'd have to be larger than a crew cab F150 for me tbh. It'd be are de-facto vacation vehicle, and 3 in a row during a 600 mile drive feels like a lot.

The phrase “You kids keep arguing and you are both going in the vault again” comes to mind here.

(Sorry we’re not being super helpful)
Difficulty: MIL also in vehicle.

I honestly didn't think anyone would have some mystery 3-row EV that I hadn't found yet, but figured just maybe. TBH I didn't realize Audi even sold an EV until I went down that rabbit hole - and forgot entirely about Canoo too. So there has been some actual help lol

In that case you definitely need to put the seating in the vault but not for the kids…

Canoo lost of bunch of it’s leadership. I’d love to see them succeed, just a bit worried about their chances. Honestly I’d love to see all of these companies succeed.

Posting this in vs. because it's the closest fit.

When I first reserved my CT, the day after reveal, my life was simpler - 2 kids, a dog, and a small homestead. Mostly office work for my day-job, and outdoor work for the hobby-turned-smallbiz. Well, that was what feels like a decade ago and I now find myself needing to more frequently travel with more people - specifically my now live-in MIL. This means fitting 3 adults, 2 kids who are getting bigger all the time, and "stuff". With one vehicle being my wife's commuter (a Bolt) I have to do this job with the remaining vehicle.

Unfortunately, I believe I've outgrown the truck format and now need to replace my van with another 3-row vehicle.

Thing is, I was also hoping the truck would help with hauling. Occasionally I need to cart around my Kubota L1 with implements - which loaded on the trailer is ~5k lbs and rather long. Too long for a MY. And I'm betting too much for the ID.Buzz.

Is the R1S the only full-EV option with 3 rows and a 5k towing capacity that isn't $100k+ like the MX?
Wait for the CT, someone will make a great bolt in legal jump seat for the bed. Crack the small rear passthrough for a little ventilation and AC and put the obnoxious ones in the back.

Just a slight edit there… because even the best mother in law is still the mother in law.

Someone needs to monitor the little ones back there right? Right???

Dang, the cybervan can't come early enough! Rivian R1S is your best option here. #mytwocents
