Light Bar Recall for 2024 Foundation Series Cyberbeast (6,197 Units Affected)

Is the light bar in the thumbnail image upside down? Something is wrong about it.

It’s the windshield reflection. Here is a side shot with the plastic insert removed. I have painters tape covering it.

So if I need to replace my window, and don’t want the bracket, I need to do it before March 1st?

that is a question for the service center, they will remove your old light bor or just remove it prior then use tale to reinstall it.
i did see another option, remove the side clips, have the recall done, when it comes back, remober the bracket and install your old side clips

No, in this image the bar is definitely upside down. The angle of the lens are perpendicular to the windshield here. I’m not sure where this image is even coming from, I don’t see it in the post at all.

Now, this one is definitely wrong but I don't see it anywhere else in this thread. The long side of the triangle should be against the windshield. This is bad.

Most likely that was one which came to back to service for reattachment. If the previous adhesive was not removed properly the lightbar fixture will not seal to the surface of the windshield without leaving a gap.

It's all about the Primer! The wrong primer used has caused glued the release.

Extra tape, glue and primer and brackets, SB2-25-90-001 is the anchoring bracket part number.
will be addressed with the service center recall.

Service centers will be receiving these brackets by March 1st, 2026.

Make an appointment with your local service center, they are also being restocked with new led lightbars.

B Pillar connections are still up in the air, most will not make the connection. legally they can't.
however, both of my Cyberbeasts the connections were made for me, Alpharetta GA and Milford CT

Get that list out of repairs and have maost o them taken care of with spring with the cantrails, and the light bar.

Now we know the exact number of 2024 Foundation series Cyberbeasts produced. 6,197

I am still waiting form my lightbar, I wonder if that recall number is only for the beasts that had it installed. I thought the total number of beasts was closer to 10k

That recall was for all Cyberbeasts. It was Tesla which put a moratorium to all service centers to delay further installations until the brackets could be provisioned for all.

Do it the right way the first time with ten rivets and “NO” glue!

They already fixed a possible multiple multimillion dollar lawsuits with one rivet, what’s wrong with ten more.

I just got my recall physical letter saying my CB is now in the queue. What bugs me a bit is I had my CB in the SC a week or so back and added the recall to my concern list. Advisor said, nope, your vin# is not in the queue yet for the recall brackets. Yet, now here we are and I need to schedule another visit, sigh. I know, I know, privileged problems, but I was trying to be efficient with time and effort.

I checked thru my service tab and there's no open lightbar bracket recall that I can find to choose. There's maintenance stuff like wiper replace, hepa, tire rotation, but nothing regarding the recall that I can locate. I looked under lights, exterior, other, upgrades.......it's not listed.

Under service go to upgrades and accessories. According to service you will get an email when it’s your turn. You would subsequently put the request under the aforementioned tab.

Are there any photos yet of what the lightbar fix looks like? I've been checking for months to see if I can get mine fixed ahead of a roadtrip, but so far they're still telling me they're waiting for parts.

The new brackets are sweet actually - just got mine installed - super impressed all around.
