If this is going to be the "other cybertruck" they are going to have to come through with the range extender.

Looks like they lost me as a CT buyer.

For $60k bottom of the line CT doesn't make sense especially with all the things they took out and only 3 miles range improvement? I don't see too many people buying this model. This is not going to help their sales, maybe help the AWD. Maybe $55K, they will have some sales.

I know 3 others that pre-order the CT. None of us are order a CT. We all have MY and/or M3. So that should said something about the CT and pricing of the CT. I am looking at the R1T now. Is just so sad.
Please do buy the R1T....that will make both of us HAPPY.
Aussie orders can't come soon enough..... SAUDI ARABIA is 'LIVE'
Australia 'NEXT'(?)
We have Deserts that need concur_ring

And “textile” seats. Only the front seats are heated and none of the seats are ventilated.

I‘m one of the 30% of reservation holders that reserved the RWD model back in 2019.

I’m going to sleep on it before placing my order. I do like the fact the it comes standard with a mechanical rear locking differential. That is a huge plus in snowy or muddy conditions.

Apple does this all the time, its marketing genius. (Not just Apple , fast food restaurants and tons of others). They release a cheaper phone, not much cheaper, but they don’t expect it to make a lot of sales. You want the cheaper product, then upgrade some specs, now your in the “price range” of the higher model, might as well buy it, it’s such a better deal, for all you get, right?

This is to push all the people wanting RWD to say screw it Im getting the AWD version.

The option to order the Range Extender is still gone from the order page. And now the references to the Range Extender are also gone from the specs page.

There were formerly two range numbers for each version: with and without the Range Extender. Now the Range Extender numbers have disappeared.

Exactly, and after a year or so, they will lower the price accordingly on all models. Marketing genius! I think all these models are correctly priced for the current market!

Probably not or at least not initially. That may be a reason why they removed it from the configurator recently.

Sorry Tesla, I just don’t see this model increasing Cybertruck demand. At $60,990 yes. At $70k no.

Crazy for them to flex a towing pic like that and range on the same page, while cutting the range extender. Great truck but showing it towing as the primary image is not the best idea IMO

Yeesh, this one’s rough. I’m still looking through it but it looks like no L-Track, bed outlets, or even cabin outlets.

Way overpriced considering all the deletions!
Checkout R1T or Ford Lightning for a comparison. It appears to be overpriced compared to AWD features, but it’s well priced compared to other EV trucks! You get 350 miles for a dent resistant truck with 6’ bed and SBW AND it can fit in a garage. You don’t get all that in $69K price point.
