We had a good run... Starting Oct 1st, we can no longer ride solo on HOV lanes. :cry:

Well you can save yourself $20-$30,000 in living expenses moving away from the coastline and into a central state.

I’ll make up the difference in daily tolls and HOV charges.

HOV lane stickers for EVs are like handicap stickers in some ways. For honest people the program is great, but others take advantage to game the system for their own benefit. I think this program was a useful statement to promote clean air vehicles in their early days but should have been cancelled around 2020.

It was definitely a nice benefit here in Atlanta where I85 is a perpetual nightmare.

I remember when they started the program and the HOV lane was jammed with Nissan Leafs going the speed limit and pissing off everyone else. It's been much more of an express lane since their popularity waned 😁
