sorry.. had to give it it's own thread.

Am I living in a dreamscape right now? Elon just said those things lol.

Does he know what Tesla is charging?

What would gouging be to him?

It boggles my mind... This is orders of magnitudes more ironic than anticipated

LOL Elon "We could dramatically raise the price of the Cybertruck"
Um....Foundation Edition $20k markup.......on top of the already increased price from the initial announcement.
My skin just boiled... literally has had my cash for 4 years, way overpriced it, and now has my deposit of 1k sitting there, with not updates...grrr
Okay, at least i'm not the only one super mad right now.

You're on point, bro. Charging 6-figures for a vehicle is gouging in my little brain.

Elon has goals for price. Others should be worried. Look at recent comments by other auto CEO's.

Look at some price points for the Model 3 now. I think I paid 53k for my 2017 Model 3.

We all have goals, some of us have shareholders to answer to while large capex is going out the window. You can't give away the farm while doing all that capex. Later to gain market share sure. Lower price then. In the mean time you would be kicked hard at the next battery day or whatever.

Sadly I have to agree with you. there is no non-fs, no rear motor in his head now. All CT starts from $100K for him and looking for an opportunity to increase:(

The only extra I would've got on that list is FSD at 7k. Almost everything else would've been purchased from knockoffs or Tesla eventually. And considering lost incentives. After factoring in the 7k. FS costs me an extra 25k. Not to mention the added cost of just driving due to reduced efficiency. (Small difference but still)
