This non Tesla brand helps cover rear wheel steering area protection.

But there is a concern of backing up to curb or concrete bump stop it will not clear.

Installed mine today. My thought was to help keep the plastic from taking chips like our Model X has. The plastic on our Model X looks horrible from one winter trip that had ice just smashing in to the lower body from the tires. I’m not worried about the range impact if there is any. Can snag pictures later if people are interested.

Ok, I’ll be the dumb guy to ask first. What’s the point of mud flaps if you’re not doing a bunch of muddin’? Does it help from getting pebbles and such from kicking up onto the rest of the truck? Is it an aesthetic choice?
I’m guessing you don’t live where it snows? Here in Northern Michigan with a winter of snow average of 12 to 15 feet of snow that has road gravel in it, drivers behind me appreciate the fact I put these mud flaps in my CT today.

Haha nope, So Cal. Hence my obliviousness. But I do go up to the snow in Mammoth and Tahoe some! I’ve ordered them.

I ordered them on Tuesday, arrived on Thursday and installed on Friday. I think they should have been standard and apart of the overall base molding.

Can someone post a side profile pic of the entire truck?

The aero fairings are in front of each wheel, these go behind the wheels.
Damaged my front aero wheel fairings - (the ones in front of the wheel) who knew a speed bump would be an off road hazard. Any idea where I could replace them?
Anyone who removed them willing to sell them - I need all 4. Thnx

I've never seen a speed bump capable of damaging the front wheel fairings on a Cybertruck, not even in the lowest driving mode.

If what you say is true, many passenger cars would be getting hung up on the same speed bump.
