Question resulting from this experience:
Do you have an opportunity to go over vehicle before you sign the delivery acceptance?

relevant as my vehicle has vin assigned and is at factory awaiting shipping.

when I bought my S 12 years ago it arrived on a truck, the guy backed it off and handed me the keys. Of course it was perfect.
How do you know vehicle is at factory waiting shipping? I have my Vin assigned as well, but know nothing else at this point.

Just picked up my Truck. During the delivery, noticed that tonneau cover is not working. When I told Tesla staff, first thing came out of their mouth was "you must have open and closed it too many times, causing it to over heat. " I politely informed them that, I just got here and tried it once. They tried it and found out that tonneau was binding up at last 12 inches of travel. They just told me to set up a service appointment to get it fixed.
It was very disappointing experience.?
picked my truck up on Saturday. Tonneau button is broken today. The app still works. Just the physical button is broken.

we are not the only ones…. I know of one other that has this issue.

Actually #cgladue did and still doing much good than 99% people on this board. I am grateful for his contribution.

Side notes: if someone work in the retail doesn't show the respect to his/her customers, why he/she should get the respect back?
