What’s your top five? There are many for me but I will list my top 5 reasons in order:

#1: 3mm thick stainless steel exterior (with no paint to maintain!)
#2: Futuristic styling (The design is absolutely brilliant)
#3: All electric drivetrain with Single/Dual/Tri motor option
#4: It’s a full size pickup with 4 real doors
#5: Sports car performance with pickup truck utility

Let'seeeeeee, if I had to make it just 5 specific things then, in order(at least what I'm thinking right now)
1. All electric
2. Battery that will last 30+years... hopefully with a warranty (pending battery day announced) *after announcement, nothing really new about battery cept it will be the same chemistry as what's in the semi.
3. General toughness/reliability, also offroad/high clearance. I feel this can all be one point.
4. Supercharging network
5. Big enough to potentially live in

1. Affordable electric pickup truck.
2. Pet mode / camp mode
3. Crew cab.
4. Integrated OEM bed cover
5. FSD
Would I have bought it in preorder if it wasn't a Tesla? Yes I would buy it if it was a Ford or other major manufacturer but I would have waited till it was out for a year. So maybe number one reason should be it's a Tesla. But I'm going to keep my Tacoma for awhile to make sure the CT is reliable. In 16 years my Tacoma has died one time, but started right back up. Has once been pulled off the beach because 4x4 failed to engage ( my fault for not testing, but it always just worked before) .

1. Sustainability - Low environmental impact.
2. Utility - Probably going to be better than any other pickup from the factory.
3. Reliability/maintenance - Besides the quirks i haven't heard of Tesla having tons a major failures.
4. Affordability - When you crunch the numbers.. CyberTruck is crazy affordable.
5. Design - While i can honestly say i would buy the CyberTruck no matter what it looks like, i absolutely love the styling. It has purpose and meaning behind the design. Nothing seems arbitrary. Simple, Clean design.

#1: Price
#2: It's a Tesla
#3: Stainless Steel
#4: 120/240 Plug ins
#5: Adjustable suspension

Didn't realize how hard it would be to pick a top 5. There's just so many reasons.
I know my number #2 seems super cheesy. All I can say is it's not. I've never owned a vehicle that get's better on it's own. I generally have to buy then swing wrenches for such things or just wish i had the latest model. The over the air upgrades, the constant tweaking to make it better (autopilot, charging, acceleration, regen, security, software), response to customer input, security, purchase experience, I could go on. Basically the business model is so different.
The OEMs really need to pay attention. Beyond just trying to produce an EV. I don't care if 'x OEM or start up' brings out an enticing alternative, if they don't figure out what else makes a Tesla, a Telsa ... well i won't be buying.

these are all the reasons I ordered it. Needed a pickup truck, was leaning towards the RAM Rebel. However I really wanted a Tesla car and to my surprise the release of this truck combined all that. The performance, technology, toughness, utility and design made it a no brainer. Plus wife approved!

Being a FL resident you won’t need to worry about your clear coat peeling off from sun exposure?

All my reasons have been covered by others save one. In the off-chance we don't have V2G charging available, the CT still has 120v receptacles in the bed that can be tapped during power outages. No more worries of food spoilage and perhaps can even keep Netflix going. ;)
