Even the guys at Tesla all came out when we honked it...

Oh, and there doesn't appear to be a 'choice' for it... You just need to not chose ANYTHING in the Toybox ones... Running version 2024.26.300.1 on the CT right now... (Can't wait for the FSD update!!)

About this factory software business on CT. I posted some sometime back that I was on factory software for weeks with my CB. We just picked up my wife’s new MX and she had 2024.25.27 ready to download before we even left the SC parking lot. This (or very close to it) was our experience on every other Tesla we own (3)/have owned (5).

I wonder what the deal is with CT staying on factory software for so long, comparatively?

It's not confirmed. The horn hasn't changed with any software update. Maybe they can enable it in the future, but even Wes (engineer for the CT) wasn't sure.

From my SC last night when I asked about the horn. Basically, they don’t know.

HI Stacia, after asking around, what I was able to find out was that it depends on when the truck was built. I don't know what the cut off for what trucks will have it and dont have it at the moment. That is the extent of what I was able to find out about the new horn from service and trying to to figure it out on my own.

Still on the 300.1 version... I THOUGHT we would be getting the newest update, but not sure if they 'froze' those until they add the 'camera fix' part for the 'recall' (software update really). So no FSD yet...

It's not in the toy box, it's default, no setting changes or toy box sound needed.

I don't have it, but I would like it.

definitely not that - I'm very early (real early) ((like extremely early)) VIN and I do have that fire truck horn.
